Caravan

"London calling... Identity design for new London Roastery, Bar & Restaurant — Caravan. They roast their own coffee on site, the food is universal, inspired by the flavours of the world — and it’s all cooked by Miles Kirby, former Head Chef of The Providores. Caravan is contemporary with a nod to the values of a hand-made artisan history. Black thermo ink on a lush matt stock makes for a trailer full of happiness."

Slowly Does It

"Like most cooks Bob Walker's food passion and education began at a young age, by his mother’s side, in the kitchen, back in Yorkshire. He can remember scraping the bowl of all the left over mix, and helping his Mum with the obligatory Sunday Roast. When Bob asked us to help him communicate his passion for good food we knew it would mean immersing ourselves in the movement known as 'Slow Food'. The promotion, enjoyment and protection of locally-produced food products and regional cooking."
"We needed to convey Bob's passion and no-nonsense approach to food. Selecting a robust typeface and monochromatic palette gets the message across loud and clear, whilst using Bob's own quotes delivers meaning and depth to the brand which quite literally is an extension of Bob's own personality. These were then applied to environmentally responsible packaging materials. Clean, simple and honest - 'It's all about the food'." Designed by Berg Studio.

Meat & Bread

Glasfurd & Walker recently completed the identity and all brand design for Gastown's latest addition to neighbourhood,Meat & Bread. Based on the idea of "man made" (in the literal sense) we created an strong, clean identity and brand design for the restaurant, which extends to stationery, signage, packaging and web. To compliment the hand crafted aesthetic of the interior, the main signage was hand painted onto glass, and all take out bags are hand stamped with the logo."

Too Good

"The brand new TooGood snacks are entering French boundaries for the first time in April 2011. We were supposed to seduce, break the existing rules and be different. The reason why they're all flashy!  Lots of things to say about the new snack such as being cholesterol free, vegetarian, low calory, low fat, rich in omega-3 etc. i decided to put the whole information in a bloc with a photo attached just like you were reading a column in a magazine."

Market Grown

Catalina Rozo & Melissa Clinard, recent graduates from the University of Florida created these cute Burlap Bags for Market Grown, a campaign to help local farmers in Alachua County, FL
"Market Grown is a campaign to support local farmers in Alachua County, FL. In order to help the farmers, we made burlap bags to be sold at the Farmers Market to create revenue. The bags feature screen printed designs of vegetables and fruits which are sold by the farmers. The bags are made out of burlap as a way to up-cycle existing materials found at the market. The inside of the bags are lined with colorful nylon fabric so they are water-proof for fresh produce. "
